 What is Easter all about?  I know bunnies do not lay eggs.



 THIS IS WHAT IT IS ABOUT

CHANGES TO CHANGES

Sequester is down to 14 days off without pay. I was thinking that
is great news but either way we will make it. Looking on the bright side
My husband will be home one extra day a week. We will enjoy having
him at the lake with us, we could make Fridays our date day and it is always
great to have a extra set of hands to fill out massive paperwork (praying).

13 days before the teenager and myself leave for Europe.  Getting excited!!
Spain, Italy and Greece .
My husband always talks about traveling and I was the one who always
said " no, not me, I think I will keep my feet on the ground in the good ol
USA'.      ha,ha, ,       I have been to Ind*a  twice and now Europe.
Really, what will I do next ???

The girls are doing great

 Hrutuja loves learning her letters, numbers, counting, shape on the kindle fire.
 She is learning so quickly. Her English is getting better.

Even though it is 50 degrees outside today, they needed to play in the snow so they
have their snow gear on....... see the grass below Rohana's feet.
Last night was Hrutuja's 4th night without a accident in the pullup. !! WooHoo...

Life just can't get any better than this, well maybe it could but I just love it now.

CHANGES

Opened the mail box yesterday to find a Social Security card for
our little one!   yAY       IRS here comes our tax papers.
We were worried that we would not get it in time because Austin
and I are going to Europe with his classmates on April 12.

Information on the sequester..."one extra day a week off without pay."
so a 4 day work week ?  This could be an interesting 5 1/2 months.
Currently going thru my mind ..... Do I need to get a job ? How  pay bills ?
what about the next adoption ??, etc.    But still thankful that he has a job
  
 Hyperventilation comes to mind when I think about even more changes
that are going on in our lives. Some times I start to dwell on it but do
remember to thank God for the little things and wonder what is Gods
plan for all these changes ?  What is He trying to tell us ?  What is He
opening us up to ??

WAITING, WONDERING AND PRAYING EVERY DAY

CRAZY MOM

With another Noreater bearing down on New England one day
before Spring.  Schools cancelled making this crazy mom happy !!!
Dad even stayed home today, woohoo.!!!
So we let the kids watch Tv before breakfast ( yup ) but after eating breakfast
the girls were just loving having dad home. Finally we had to tell everyone
that they had to get dressed and do their morning duties. ( I know ) So Hrutuja
went to get dressed first and then I told Rohana to go pick out her clothes.
I got side tracked doing something and all of a sudden Rohana comes out of
her bedroom and said "look mom, I did it !" I looked at her and realized that
she had gotten herself dressed. Even her shirt, which I usually have to help
her with. She usually stands in her room as says "I need help" until someone
helps her.   I was so happy and amazed. Daddy  even got to see her accomplish
something that she usually does not do.   She still amazes us daily.

JACKETS

Last week Rohana's zipper broke on her jacket so mom bought them both a new
Princess jackets (clearance@ _mart) They were so excited when I gave them their jackets.

Yesterday we went to Kidgits (kids program) at the mall. When we first got there Rohana
had a melt down because of noise and lots of people and she also wanted to see the
Easter Bunny right NOW and not when it was her turn. They make Bunny noses, baby
chicks, coloring pages, egg hunt. At one point I looked at Hrutuja and asked what was
wrong ? She was just staring into space then she hugged my legs so I picked her up
she started crying.  We left shortly after that but they both told daddy that they had
fun and posed for this picture which I can not turn up right. The boys did come along
and had fun helping their sisters.
Rohana starts Hippotherapy tomorrow. She is so excited and I am wondering how
Hrutuja will react to the horse.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY !!

We are still waiting for Hrutuja's Social Security card. I called the SS office friday and
at first they had no record of her name and said" I had to come back to the office."
I asked to speak to a supervisor and then I was told that" they just heard back from
USCIS yesterday (to confirm that her Certificate of Citizenship is really hers) so it
will be another 2-3 weeks."  So 50+ days after country entry and 4 weeks after 
applying for the card, plus another 2-3 weeks???    We might file our taxes on time.

 

HEAVY SLED

Yesterday the girls wanted to play outside before lunch as usual.
Rohana got the baby sled out and asked Hrutuja to pull her..
I came around the corner to see Rohana in the baby sled and
Hrutuja was trying to pull and started asking mom tho help....
I told Hrutuja "that you pull sleds on the snow not the asphalt
driveway". ha,ha  It took a little while to convince Hrutuja that
it would be easier to pull if they were in the snow.  Once on the
snow it was easier to pull but it was harder to walk because her
foot would sink in the snow every other step, so we all ended up
laughing so hard because they took turns pulling each other in
the snow and falling while they were trying to walk.
I can not wait for spring and summer. Rohana keeps asking to
go to the beach and I keep telling her that it is still cold at the
beach so we can not go yet. The other day we were out doing
errands and I was going to swing down to the beach to show her that
it is still cold there but it started raining so we didn't go.

YEARS AGO

_____    years ago I gave birth to my first child . A beautiful little
girl who was born a month early and spent an extra week in the hospital.
A first time mom, I did everything slowly because I was afraid to hurt
my little 6 lb. girl.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY FIRST PRINCESS !!
How the years have gone by sooo fast. 
She stayed with her siblings while we went to India to get
her another little sister (She always wanted a little sister). Now she has
two, and two brothers.
I thank God for my children everyday and hope to add more children to
our family in the future.

 

 

CLASS

I enjoyed my first night at my SB-BHP class.
( I always enjoy adult conversation and this teacher)
There were 12 of us some High School ED Tecs
and one on ones. And just a couple people who were
interested in the class (one being me) Some of this stuff
I got in my DSP class but I am excited about learning.
One thing that She said keeps going thru my mind.
Behaviors are unmet needs !!   really ??
Well 2nd class is tonight. I am ready.

Hrutujas English is getting better. Now when I have to
run arrands or just visit someone I hear "No want, No want"
I tell her" I am sorry you no want, but mom has to."

She is so funny at times, always laughing out loud...

GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME !!


 

MARCH

Well, March is here !!   I just have this feeling that the snow
will be around for a while. Clocks spring ahead this weekend.
Easter is not that far away... Spring and summer are really coming !!

And then this morning the snow flakes fill the air...
Oh, well.  Bible study, house work, then school.

Rohana and Hrutuja are enjoying playing together and also
enjoy playing Dora on the kindle fire. They are both learning
colors, shapes, numbers, tracing numbers and word pictures.
Hrutujas English is getting better.
