THE FAIR

We decided to take the kids to the fair.  It's only a hour and half ride.

Oh no, the trees are changing colors... that means fall is really here !!

As we were walking in we saw these beautiful horses.

We walked around til lunch time.

Rebekah was telling me "This is really exciting but I am hungry !"

After we went into the Sugar House we sat down to so we could try
the maple candy that dad bought.  Someone tapped me on the shoulder and
said " The management would like to know if we could give the kids each a
bag of cotton candy, you guys do a great job with them."  Like,Wow !
A little praise for a sometimes exhausting road is awesome. When you take
them somewhere you think will be /should be fun you kinda second guess
what you were thinking once the first one has anxiety or melt down.
I decided to let them share one bag of cotton candy and they decided it was ok.

While they were trying their Cotton Candy and Maple Candy I took Rebekah
out of her chair and she went to sleep in my lap. So I wrapped her in Daddys sweat shirt.

Last barn before we left.... you guessed it the piggys

Now I realize the camera man only took pictures of the pigs.
I am sure we walked through every animal barn. Nate and his little piggys.

PRAYERS

Praying for everyone who is in the path of Hurricane Matthew.

About a month ago a face I had seen before popped up on my FB feed.
She is beautiful.  We looked at her file and and a additional report
that LHM had written about her after examining her.   WOW, scary
A heart condition ,TOF.......She needs a family to run to her !!
The family that sent LOI for her received PA for her but here it is a year later
and they have decided to not proceed with the adoption. ??????
We don't know why but we shouldn't judge them.

Unfortunately, fear takes over when you read these files or reports.
She has a scary heart issue but what is even scarier is the fear of loosing
a child.    What will it do to your heart ?     Your children's hearts ? etc.

I tend to look at photo and  files with compassion, empathy.. Like wow, lets go
get her or him, they need us. I do think about out comes. what ifs.
It is hard to look back and realize fear took over and you had to
say "no" because fear is controlling.

It's not about the money or you or what it will look like.
it's about the child and the great I am.
It takes faith as small as mustard seed to move mountains.

I am also praying for my husbands heart today and his fear.

UPDATE: SHE HAS A FAMILY !!!   no, not us
