DECEMBER

November was a little rough... everyone has been sick especially Rebekah.

Now to catch up..

November we had a birthday boy.

We went to the annual tree lighting:

It was a little cold out

                                      They have gingerbread house contest

                                          And Lego contest.

Our favorite thing to do is ride the sleigh !!  2 times.
We did not stay for the tree lighting because it started to rain.

                                  December:

The littles dressed up for the candle lighting at church.

We had fun watching the wild turkeys visiting in our yard.

Christmas was a little busier because we had a church service both Christmas
                     Eve and Christmas day.

I think God has brought us to this season in our life to help
us walk by faith and to rely on him more than ever.

God know our needs and we will call on him  even more.

THE FAIR

We decided to take the kids to the fair.  It's only a hour and half ride.

Oh no, the trees are changing colors... that means fall is really here !!

As we were walking in we saw these beautiful horses.

We walked around til lunch time.

Rebekah was telling me "This is really exciting but I am hungry !"

After we went into the Sugar House we sat down to so we could try
the maple candy that dad bought.  Someone tapped me on the shoulder and
said " The management would like to know if we could give the kids each a
bag of cotton candy, you guys do a great job with them."  Like,Wow !
A little praise for a sometimes exhausting road is awesome. When you take
them somewhere you think will be /should be fun you kinda second guess
what you were thinking once the first one has anxiety or melt down.
I decided to let them share one bag of cotton candy and they decided it was ok.

While they were trying their Cotton Candy and Maple Candy I took Rebekah
out of her chair and she went to sleep in my lap. So I wrapped her in Daddys sweat shirt.

Last barn before we left.... you guessed it the piggys

Now I realize the camera man only took pictures of the pigs.
I am sure we walked through every animal barn. Nate and his little piggys.

PRAYERS

Praying for everyone who is in the path of Hurricane Matthew.

About a month ago a face I had seen before popped up on my FB feed.
She is beautiful.  We looked at her file and and a additional report
that LHM had written about her after examining her.   WOW, scary
A heart condition ,TOF.......She needs a family to run to her !!
The family that sent LOI for her received PA for her but here it is a year later
and they have decided to not proceed with the adoption. ??????
We don't know why but we shouldn't judge them.

Unfortunately, fear takes over when you read these files or reports.
She has a scary heart issue but what is even scarier is the fear of loosing
a child.    What will it do to your heart ?     Your children's hearts ? etc.

I tend to look at photo and  files with compassion, empathy.. Like wow, lets go
get her or him, they need us. I do think about out comes. what ifs.
It is hard to look back and realize fear took over and you had to
say "no" because fear is controlling.

It's not about the money or you or what it will look like.
it's about the child and the great I am.
It takes faith as small as mustard seed to move mountains.

I am also praying for my husbands heart today and his fear.

UPDATE: SHE HAS A FAMILY !!!   no, not us

BAPTISM

Austin has been asking to get Baptised for  a while now and
because of lots of changes in our church with  Pastoral / leadership, etc
 it has not happened.
Finally over the holiday weekend it happened.

Fun by the water.         The boys boating with Papa.

Rebekah next to mom. I had to keep an eye on her she kept rolling
into the sand. That is not good when you have a mic-key button.

                                  Fun in the water

Some great fellowship with friends and family

                                      awesome food

                                  Noodle wars.. ouch

And Nana & Papa who took care of all the arrangements.

SEASIDE PAVILION

We are actually having a lot of christian bands coming to our area.

Last month we took all the kids to see Steven Curtis Chapman at the
Seaside Pavilion in Old Orchard Beach, Maine !!

Last time we went to see him there Dad was on a trip for work ,so he missed it.
And we only had Rohana and Hrutuja home then.

Here we are waiting in the entrance line.

Listening to the music.. we actually played a lot of his songs this past week so
the kids would know some of them,

Yes we took Rebekah, she loved being outside and hearing the music.

YORK'S ANIMAL KINGDOM

We arrived early to work around Rebekah's schedule.

                                            Just a little excited

We saw all kinds of animal and had some great conversations.

Stood in front of the mirror that made you look funny.

                                                                   Austin and Gabriel

                                             Hrutuja and Gabriel

                                               Rohana and Austin

                                             Rebekah and Hrutuja and Rohana.

At the end we went into the butterfly kingdom.
You could tell the little were a little apprehensive about the butterflies
And this beautiful one landed on dad's pants
everyone was looking at it and then one landed on my arm.
As soon as Rohana saw one land on my arm she started screaming and crying.
Talk about sensory overload !!

After we got her settled down we went on some rides.

I never pass up the chance to go on merry go rounds with Rebekah.
And yes, that is Hrutuja not holding on.

Nate and dad on the bumper cars.
Practice driving because he is taking drivers ed. soon.
