The Gift of Adoption Fund reviewed your application at its August Grant
Selection Committee meeting. It was the decision of the committee to Not
Approve your application at this time.
The reason(s) for this decision is:
- committed funding not demonstrated (Less than 50% of the total reported
adoption costs have been funded. This includes the assumption that all
liquid assets such as savings will be applied to the adoption costs).
Please note, the application fee you paid allows you to apply up to three
times. If the information cited in the reason(s) above changes materially
and you would like to provide updated information for the Grant Selection
Committee to consider at a future meeting, please contact the Director of
Grants.
We wish you the best of luck as you continue your adoption journey and we
are sorry we were not able to help. It is our vision that, someday, there
will be no financial barriers between a child in need of a family and a
family such as yours that is stepping forward to give a child a loving
home.
