SANDALS

A very long week.. Rohana passed her cold onto dad and myself.
Hrutuja has had the sniffles but is doing great. Trying to keep
everyone busy while I and sick is hard but we got thru it..

I found a pattern for infant sandals (6m)

 I think Rohana and Hrutuja are going thru a growth spurt because they want
to eat all the time.   They really like fruit and vegetables and water.

ADOPTION: Found lost papers but need one more paper before we start visits with
our social worker.   Do not know which direction to go in ?  minor correctable SN or 
Special Focus children ?     Praying for direction.

LOOT

Today was a kidgets meet. The girls get excited to go now.

Their loot was a hat,a sand necklace,sun glasses, frisbee, candy, color pages,
a colorful bag. They made necklaces and bracelets and got their fingerprints
takenfor Ident a kids.. We have a great time doing this once a month.
I just wish I would remember to bring the camera with us.

ADOPTION: ha,ha .... forgotten report and lost papers.  And hopefully this
will be the only snag.

VIRAL

Rohana started with a runny nose and a slight fever on Thursday.
Friday she really did not feel good. (lucky girl she missed her
last two days of school) She woke up a couple times during the night
so Saturday I took her to the Doc. "Just a cold, but keep up her
fluids."  So fluids every 20 min.

We did venture to Somersworth  International Children's Festival
for a little while. It is pretty Kool to see different cultures dress, food,
information about their country. The kids love it, I think this is our 5th
year of going and they never get board with it.

Do not want to share the viral thing with other children so we stayed
home from church. Someone came to visit and I found out some exciting
news but can not share it at this time, so excited for them.
Rohana is doing a little better, eating, drinking.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAVID !!  he said "thank you for making it possible
for me to celebrate Fathers day.  aawww 

Today she woke up saying her ear hurts, funny no ear infection on
Saturday but has one now on Monday ???
Anyways I will keep her medicated and close to mom until she is
back to her old self. 

ADOPTION: keep checking out agencies and for some reason I keep
coming back to the same one ?? Have not found LOVES face yet.
oh, yes.... no domestic, we are ok with that.

DOMESTIC

I learned about a domestic situation yesterday.
A birth mom had a baby girl who will more than likely have
Cerebral Palsy or other Special needs because of the difficult birth.
But is currently doing well.
As I was reading I thought about bringing Rohana home and all the
things that we went thru with her, not swallowing or chewing,the
tone in her left arm and leg, all the Doctors appointments and thought.....
I could do that again, we have experience with all that and Early Intervention.
So I let them know that we are interested.

Would you pray, not for us but for the birth mom and the baby.
That the baby will find the right home that God intended for her and
that the adoptive family will reach out to the birth mom.

GATHER

As I read this on someones blog I thought

wow, exactly what I am thinking (praying) 

GLOVE

I have mailed out our paper work to our Agency.
They are waiting for our background checks to come
back, our 3 Letters of Reference and of course our
papers to arrive before they assign a Social Worker.

I am currently looking at files of Special focus children
and not one has captured my heart yet. With the girls I
saw their pictures and I knew.......Really, I would bring them
all home if allowed.

Yesterday, we drove the hour to NAPCO for a fitting for Rohana's
DMO glove.  It did not fit to well so they are returning it and
we will make the two hour round trip again in a couple weeks.

When I need a good laugh I read my Horoscope. I was reading
mine to my hubby. He said "funny it doesn't say anything about
adoption."I said "no, but yours says"Cue the diaper cake: couples
can "expect" amazing news!" Laughing he said "wow, your good"
'No, really it says that" it also says "Couples wishing to expand 
their families receive heartwarming news as summer winds down." 

Maybe we will not find LOVE'S face until August. I have a soft
spot for August because both girls birthdays are in August.
 

NEW MONTH

WOW, It is June already ??
The boys had their School field trips today and I had a great
time with Nate and his class mates.  We went bowling, had
lunch at Pizz*Hut (buffet), then we went to Vaughan Woods
memorial State park for a photo scavenger hunt...Had a great time !

   Austins class went to Fort Foster and had BBq lunch
and stopped at DQ on the way back to school.
The last day of school is two days away !!!!
We had another bike given to us for the girls so Rohana has
had time to figure out how to ride a bike.  Tears came to my
eyes when she made it all the way down the driveway by
herself. She is also being more verbal (using her words)
I am still amazed at how far she has come since we brought
her home. Yes, Hrutuja is still very fast at riding her bike.
And she is doing great.       YAY, 6 months home

On the Adoption front, we are still working twords getting our
papers in to start a new Home Study. Still undecided which
way to go.
