Our wait for TA (travel approval) starts now.
Wow, we are closer to meeting our new Blessings !!
we could be meeting them a month from Now !!

TIME FLYS

I guess it has been a while since I have posted anything.
I think all the "YES, I CAN DO THAT" are catching up to me.

pooped, I tell ya............lots of stuff to do !!
I will be getting done my job at the end of May.
We are praying that we will travel in June.
Also in June 2 graduations and 1 graduation party.
And a post placement report due.

I am having a hard time concentrating on anything
my mind keeps going to Gabriel and Rebekah....
just can't wait !! 
two more children will be orphans no more.





 

PRAYER AND PRAISE DAY

I would like to praise God for getting us to where we are today,
The adoption road is never easy but we are almost at the end of
our adoption journey.     PRAISE GOD !!

Please pray for us !
Pray for us as parents, our children, the 2 orphans in a different Country
waiting for a family, a new life and to learn about our Heavenly Father.
Pray for us to have safe travel, when we travel with no emergencies.

The thing that is weighing heavy on my mind today is the finances.
You can see what we have personally paid and what we still need to pay
on  the page that says Gabriel and Rebekah.
Please come along side us and support us, help us bring our
son and daughter home !!

I am feeling excited, scared, wonder, especially AWE.
That God would get us to this point...we are bringing two more
orphans home. WOW !! Can't wait to see their beautiful faces
in person and finally be able to share photos with everyone !

I am filling out Grant applications. Yep, more paper work

Another WOW !, looking at the fees we have paid and realized
that since we are adopting two children that our post-placement
reports that our homestudy agency does for us will be $600 for
each of the required 6 reports ($300 for each child) =$3600
Praying about the finances for this adoption. I know God has this !!

Stay calm and pray on !!!

Big sis gave them Easter hats and wings and candy..
She is go giving even though she has a little one of her own now.

800 APPROVAL

Yes, I-800 approval was yesterday 4/16 !!!
now just NVC,  ART 5,  Travel Approval  left.

Last night we had a couple over who are interested in
International Adoption..It was really awesome to get to
talk to other adults who are interested in starting their adoption
journey.  We have said all along that we wish we had other
adoptive families to talk to about the process and other things.
And to be able to see more orphans adopted !!!

We mailed out our Show Hope Grant Application yesterday.
 Also need to get more apps filled out and mailed.

I was holding my grand daughter this morning and Nathan says
"mom once you get Rebekah you won't be able to hold Brooke
and Rebekah and calm Rohana down. I said " please that is like
saying that you can not do school work and watch tv at the same time."

I think June will be a really busy month for us since Austin is a senior
he will be graduating and Nathan will be graduation from the 8th grade.
The girls get out of school 2 weeks after them.
 


SOOOO BLESSED
